Kuwaiti Ambassador to Turkey Pays A Private Visit to the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association – Turkey

Yesterday, Friday morning, His Excellency Ghassan Al-Zawawi, Ambassador of the Brotherly State of Kuwait to Turkey, visited the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association at its headquarters in Istanbul.

He was received by Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Abbad, Head of the Association, Dr. Ahmed El-Aqaby, Director of the Association, and a number of Yemeni bodies and persons.

During the meeting, the Ambassador got information about the Association’s activities and programs provided for the Yemenis inside Yemen and abroad.

His Excellency Ambassador Ghassan Al-Zawawi thanked the Association for the efforts made for the Yemenis, whether inside or outside Yemen, referring to the historical and civilizational position of Yemen which distinguishes it from the rest peoples of the world. He added that the Kuwaiti Prince and people would always support the Yemeni people until they could overcome that hard time in Yemen.

In his speech, Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Abbad, Head of the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association, welcomed the Ambassador and thanked him for this kind visit to the Association for knowing the most important programs and activities carried out by the Association.

In this meeting, the Head of the Association honored the Ambassador and granted him the Association’s shield for his constant efforts with the Association.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Najeeb Ghanem, Member of the Yemeni Parliament and former Minister of Health, a number of heads and representatives of Yemeni foundations in Turkey and a number of notables and social figures
