More than 40 Yemeni male and female students benefited from it at Turkish universities in Istanbul

The Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association – Turkey, in cooperation with the Union of Yemeni Students in Istanbul, implemented a financial grant project for more than 40 male and female students enrolled in Istanbul universities, for the month of December 2018, at the association’s headquarters in Istanbul.

The project is funded by the Taiwanese Tasjie Charitable Foundation, which aims to alleviate the suffering of some students who do not have any scholarship or support from any funding agency.

The head of the Tasji Charity Foundation expressed his happiness in cooperating with the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association in this project, adding that the foundation will contribute more to other projects in support of the Yemeni people at home and abroad.

For his part, he thanked Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Abbad, President of the Society, the Taiwanese Tasji Charitable Foundation, agreed to finance this project, and added that the Society is always keen to serve the student of knowledge and to alleviate his suffering through such projects, in addition to other projects that contribute to the development of his various skills and abilities.

In a speech to the President of the Yemeni Student Union in Istanbul, Zakaria Shaalan, in which he thanked the supporters of the Tasji Foundation and the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association for their interest in the students, and added that the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association is one of the most important partners of the Union, which contributes to the success of many activities and events.
