Project of Distributing Financial Grants to Yemeni Male and Female Students in Turkish Universities

Today, Saturday morning, the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association – Turkey implemented the Financial Grant Project for more than 50 male and female students enrolled in the Turkish universities for the academic year of 2018-2019 at the Association’s headquarters in Istanbul.

The project is funded by Rahma International – Kuwait and it aims to reduce the suffering of some students who do not have any scholarship or support from any funding body.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqabi, Director of the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association, welcomed the students and encouraged them to exert more effort for the academic achievement. He added that they wanted to thank Rahma International – Kuwait for supporting and sponsoring that project.

In his speech representing students, Ibrahim Obaid expressed his thanks to Rahma International Charity – Kuwait and the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association for sponsoring the students through these grants that contributed to meeting some of their needs.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting included a lecture given by Sheikh Mohammed Al-Sadiq, followed by a presentation of some students’ success stories and the distribution of the financial grants.
