The Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association – Turkey Launches the Sports League in Istanbul

Last Thursday, July 25, 2019, the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association – Turkey launched the Sports League for the Yemeni community in Istanbul. More than 100 players participated in this competition. Their ages ranged from 15 to 20 and they were distributed on 10 sports teams.

The competition is still ongoing among the teams for ten days. After that, the winner will be granted the Friendship Cup of the Sports League.

This activity reflects the Association’s interest in youth and the importance of the sports activities as means of entertainment for practicing the various hobbies and spending the free time in useful activities that create the spirit of competition among the Yemeni community in Istanbul
