Dr. visited Abdul Raqeeb Abbad, the president of the association, accompanied by Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Mikhlafi, the former Minister of Education in Yemen, the advisor of the association, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqbi, the director of the association. Yesterday morning, Tuesday, Sabah Al-Din Zaim University, during the visit, they met with the president of the university, Professor Muhammad Bulult.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Abbad expressed his happiness with the partnership between the association and the university, thanking the university’s cooperation with Yemeni students under the cooperation agreement concluded between the association and the university last year, wishing at the same time for more educational partnership to serve Yemeni students in Turkey.
For his part, the university president welcomed the association’s delegation, expressing his readiness to cooperate in the necessary facilities for Yemeni students. In the meeting, some problems faced by Yemeni students at the university, especially tuition fees in the economics department, were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the university was awarded the shield of friendship and cooperation by the president of the association
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nabil Al-Ghazi, Vice President of the Yemeni Community in Türkiye, and Mrs. Zakaria Shaalan, President of the Yemeni Student Union in Istanbul.
It is worth noting that the file of economics students registered in the year 2018 was referred to the foreign students department at the university, to study appropriate solutions to solve their problem.
