Yesterday morning, the Yemeni-Turkey Friendship and Cooperation Association concluded the second summer center for memorizing and teaching the Holy Quran for 45 students, which lasted for 40 days, in Istanbul.
The center comes within the activities and programs that the association holds for the Yemeni community in Turkey during the summer vacation.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Sami Salem welcomed the attendees, thanking the Friendship Association for its support for the center, which all students participating in improving the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran benefited from.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqbi, the Acting President of the Friendship Association, thanked all parents for limiting them to teaching their children to memorize and recite the Noble Qur’an, pointing out the importance of continuing in this aspect for the great benefit of our children.
In the speech of parents of students thanked d. Abdel-Wasea Al-Wase’i, who is in charge of the center, for their efforts in memorizing and teaching the Holy Qur’an to students, adding to the importance of such centers because of their great benefit to children, especially in the countries of the Diaspora.
The ceremony included samples of student recitations, poetry, and chanting. At the end of the ceremony, the participants and contributors to the success of the center were honored.
