YEMENI FRIENDSHIP AND COOPERATION ASSOCIATION – TURKEY

On Sunday evening, the Yemeni-Turkey Friendship and Cooperation Association held a workshop on the humanitarian situation in Yemen and the Yemeni expatriate communities in Istanbul.

The workshop is sponsored by the Union of Civil Organizations in the Islamic World. At the beginning of the workshop, Mr. Ali Court welcomed. Head of civil organizations in the Islamic world in attendance, adding that this workshop is important in knowing the humanitarian situation in Yemen and the Yemeni communities in the Diaspora.

In the first axis of the workshop, Dr. Mujahid Morgan working paper on: the humanitarian situation in Yemen, reviewing the most important figures, statistics and urgent humanitarian needs for Yemen.

In the second axis of the workshop, Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Abbad, a working paper on the Yemeni communities in the diaspora, reviewing the most important statistics and figures for the Yemenis in the diaspora, the necessary needs, the difficulties they encounter and ways to solve them.

At the end of the workshop, the discussion was opened by Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqbi, the presenter of the workshop on the two papers, and the interaction took place in asking questions and additions by the attendees.

The workshop was attended by a number of heads of the association and the Arab, Turkish and Yemeni endowments.
