On Thursday 02/11/2021 AD, the Director of the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association, Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqbi, the Director of the Financial Resources Department of the Association, Counselor / Najeeb Yamani, and the Relationship Officer of the Association, Mr. Abdul Hakim Mirza, visited İSTANBUL TİCARET University, during which they met with Professor / Yugal Ogurlu University’s president.

During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqbi explained the works and projects of the Friendship Association and its active role in contributing to embracing Yemeni students studying in Turkish universities and providing academic, material and moral support to students.

During the meeting, Professor / Yugal Ogurlu reviewed the opportunities available by the university and the means of cooperation available in contributing to the provision of aid to Yemeni students.

The two parties also agreed to obtain a 50% reduction for the bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the tuition fees for one academic year for students coming from the Friendship Association in the colleges as follows:

-Faculty of Economics
-College of Engineering
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
-collage of rights
College of Communication
College of Design and Architecture
They have more than 30 majors, according to the college

Noting that registration for the undergraduate level for the next academic year begins in September 2020-2021.
As for the master’s degree, registration is now available.

At the end of the meeting, the visiting team thanked the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association, İSTANBUL TİCARET University for their warm reception and interaction towards the Yemeni students, wishing for continued relations and partnership.
