Inauguration of Forum Entitled “We Are Yemenis”, in Yalova, Turkey

In Presence of Deputy Minister of Yemeni Expatriates Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Adil, and a Number of the Yemeni notables, Social Figures and Businessmen, Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association-Turkey Inaugurates Yemeni Forum in Yalova, Turkey

Today, Friday, September 10, 2019, the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association-Turkey inaugurated the forum entitled “We Are Yemenis” in Turkey under the slogan of “Civilization, Ambassadors and Values” at Rhizome Resort in Yalova, Turkey.

In the inauguration of the forum, the Head of the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association-Turkey, Dr. Dr. Abdul-Raqeeb Abbad welcomed the 200 participants residing in Turkey from all Yemeni governorates. He said, “Today, we are launching the forum that we aim to make it a fraternal and familiar meeting, especially in light of the painful current situation that Yemenis suffer from whether inside or outside Yemen.  We should be aware of the issues of our country by adopting the whole national project through this wonderful image of the honorable attendees.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqabi, the head of the forum, thanked the participants for attending the forum and participating in its various activities because this contributed to strengthening the fraternal relations among the Yemeni community in Turkey. He also excused those who wanted to attend, but they could not come.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Adil, Deputy Minister of Yemeni Expatriates Affairs, gave a speech in which he praised the role of this effective forum in the process of development and construction for the Yemeni community in Turkey, especially in this stage in which we follow the cooperation and understanding of Yemenis about their national project and country away from the small projects through which Yemen is a target to be divided. He added that the Yemenis contributed to serving Yemen, whether they were inside or outside Yemen. He also appreciated all the efforts made for the success of this forum.

The inauguration ceremony included a film show entitled “We Are Yemenis” explaining the true meaning of this title and their role in building the Yemeni civilization and serving the Islamic civilization from ancient times until now.
