On the occasion of the Sixth Anniversary of its Foundation, Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association holds “Youth Friendship Forum” in Conjunction with Inauguration of University Housing

On the occasion of the sixth anniversary of its foundation, the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association helds a youth friendship forum in conjunction with the inauguration of university housing.

The Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association held a youth friendship forum in Karabuk. It will last until February 16, 2020.

The Forum was attended by Dr. Mustafa Yasar, Vice Rector of Karbuk University, with the Director of Education in Karbuk and a number of Turkish organizations, in addition to a number of Turkish and Yemeni social figures.

In the opening ceremony of the forum, Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Abbad, the head of the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association, gave a speech. He welcomed the attendees and reviewed the most important achievements of the association in the sixth anniversary of its foundation.

The Vice Rector of the University also gave a speech at the celebration in which he thanked the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association and those who were in charge of it due to the support and contribution they provided to the Yemeni students and the educational process. He said that the university is ready to cooperate and coordinate for the benefit of the Yemeni students. At the end of the ceremony, a number of Turkish and Yemeni agencies and persons were honored.

After finishing the celebration, the attendees went to the university student housing of the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association which can accommodate about 227 students. On this occasion, the tape was cut by Dr. Mustafa Yashar, the Vice Rector of Karbuk University, and a number of Yemeni and Turkish figures. It is worth noting that the official opening will be carried out after obtaining the official license from the Turkish Education Ministry.

On its first day, the programs of the Youth Friendship Forum began with a workshop after the Maghrib Prayer.  It was managed by Eng. Fouad Sabri.

It is worth noting that the forum is held on the sixth anniversary of the foundation of the Association which was established on February14, 2014. The activities, programs and sessions of the forum will last in the period (14 -16) February 2020.
