Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association – Turkey

The Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association issued its Achievement Report on the digital achievements in various fields in 2019. The report included following achievements:

First: In the field of education

• 121 school desks
• 175 financial grants for students throughout the year
• 2 student residences accommodating 241 students.
• 6 apartments

Second: In the field of training and qualification

• 2 diplomas on “Strategic Leadership”
• 2 leadership qualification programs
• 22 programs and training courses on various languages, computer, media, etc.

Third: Social initiatives for the Yemeni community in Turkey

• “We Are Yemenis Forum” attended by 220 participants.
• Youth Summer Camp attended by 50 young people.
• The Ideal Summer Center included 42 students.
• Ramadan Iftar for 5600 fasters.
• Sacrifices and meat for 952 families.
• Ramadan retreats are 4.
• Youth Sports League with the participation of 100 young people.
• Supporting 45 student activities.

Fourth: Humanitarian Initiatives (Yemen):

• 15 relief projects, including food baskets, etc. for the benefit of about 18,000 people.
• Sponsorship of 101orphans.
• Distributing clothes to 100 people.
• Supporting the medical field for 35 beneficiaries.

Fifth: Relationships and Partnerships:

• Signing 21 cooperation and partnership agreements.
• Obtaining two memberships in international unions.
• The Association has received 88 visits
• The Association has paid 54 visits.
• The Association has paid 23 visits to the Turkish universities.
• Honoring 18 supporters and donors.
• The number of partners is 25 in 2019.
